1.5 hour Group Lesson with Intelligent Minds Chess for up to 10 ADULTS.

The 90 minute group lesson FOR ADULTS will be tailored to the level of the group and will focus on the fundamentals of chess, pattern recognition with checkmate puzzles and tactics, learning and implementing the basic principles of chess in the openings and basic endgame techniques. We will guide students in formulating plans and inspire them to think creatively and out of the box. Students will explore different perspectives and ideas through chess analysis.

ADIA ONYANGO, MA, NATIONALLY RANKED CHESS EXPERT
Intelligent Minds Chess is run by Adia Onyango, a Nationally Certified FIDE Instructor who has been coaching chess for over 15 years with schools around NYC including The Neighborhood School, Dalton (National Chess Champions), The Garden School, and MS 143. Coach Onyango has a BA in psychology from Vassar College, a Masters from SUNY at Buffalo, and all but her dissertation defended towards her Ph.D. in child clinical psychology.

In addition to coaching Onyango is a Nationally Ranked Expert, competes nationally and internationally, and stands among the top 100 women in the United States.
