Students will be able to drop-in and participate in one of our in-person after school chess classes at The Neighborhood School from 2:45-5:00PM on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.

TNS Chess Club Program Description: Student lessons will be tailored to the level of the group and will focus on the fundamentals of chess, pattern recognition with checkmate puzzles and tactics, learning and implementing the basic principles of chess in the openings and basic endgame techniques. We will guide students in formulating plans and inspire them to think creatively and out of the box. Students will explore different perspectives and ideas through chess analysis.
