This gift certificate is for two (2) tickets to one (1) of the following concerts in the 2022-2023 Season. The following descriptions provide some background of each of the concerts.
• We kick off our season on October 14 and 15 with a program titled In The Middle, a celebration of the joys found in the present moment. One of the pieces on this program we are most excited about is a work for choir and chamber orchestra on a Dylan Thomas text called “Fern Hill.”
• Next we get into the holiday spirit with three performances of Christmas with Atlanta Master Chorale on December 9, 10 and 11. We look forward to seeing you, along with your family, friends, and neighbors as we sing music of joy and peace, of light and love.
• Our March 10 and 11 concerts, themed Magnificat, will feature choral works based on the ancient liturgical text that is both a hymn of praise and a prayer for justice. The program will include choral settings from the Renaissance to the present, culminating with the celebrated Bach Magnificat.
• We will conclude the season with energy and vitality on April 28 and 29 with a performance of the High Lonesome Bluegrass Mass, featuring the Chuck Nation Band. The concert will also include additional selections that are inspired by the folk songs and hymns that arise out of the bluegrass tradition. "
