This item is a print of the late Thich Nhat Hahn’s original calligraphy and is framed in the British Columbia yellow cedar that was used to construct the the Hall of Compassion at Lawai International Center. The frame was fabricated by Brendan Smith, an important member of the 88 Shrines community, and measures 12 ¾” x 15 ¾”. This fine print features English-language phrases rendered in Japanese style calligraphy and urges us to aspire to be the agents of positive change in our and other's lives. The artists red signature stamp lends a traditional Japanese aura to the print.
This print was obtained from the Deer Park Monastery near San Diego in Southern California. It is in the lineage of Thich Nhat Hahn and established by the Plum Village four-fold Sangha.
Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh was a global spiritual leader, poet, and peace activist, renowned for his powerful teachings and bestselling writings on mindfulness and peace.
