Description

This item is an sturdy, handcrafted sitting stool by westside Kauai artist Diane Nitta. It measures 11"x16"x18"h and is fashioned from ponderosa pine with all fasteners carefully hidden. The bench cushion is covered in a beautiful floral-print fabric, reminiscent of the flowers in Diane's garden. This artfully crafted seat will provide comfortable seating if used functionally but it could also serve as a decorative item in anyone's home.

Diane was a school teacher turned principal and administrator for the Department of Education on Kauai and is a long-time westside Kauai resident. She and her husband, Ray, are long-time supporters of 88 Shrines and contribute to all of our activities with open hearts.
