OurShelves has a dual mission: 1) To curate high-quality diverse kids' books and deliver them to the doorstep of the families, teachers, and librarians seeking them through quarterly book boxes, and 2) To advocate for the many more diverse books still needed. OurShelves books feature racially and ethnically diverse, LGBTQ+, disabled, feminist and other characters and families who are traditionally under- represented in kids' books.
