Based in San Francisco and Bonny Doon, Danny Hess is always refining his approach to surfboard building through long hours in the ocean and at the woodshop. As a longtime woodworker and surfer throughout his life, his goal is to create legacy surfboards father than seasonal one-off's. High performance boards that are as concerned with design as their environmental impact. He is always experimenting and pushing towards better materials and craftsmanship. The process is a labor of love and represents an ongoing evolution in his design process as well as a continuation of his environmental philosophy.

Specs:

Bella Twin wood surfboard, made without foam, resin or fiberglass. This board was built from trees that burned in the CZU fire complex with a new technique to reduce environmental impact, while retaining high performance/flow.
