This is a handcrafted end grain butcher block cutting board, 14 ¼ by 12 ¼ by 1 ½, made from Purple Heart, Maple, Osage Orange and Zebrawood.

The board has a chaotic pattern that displays the uniques of the combination of woods and the brilliant wood grain patterns. This is the natural color of wood. After sanding it down to a buttery smooth feel, this board is saturated with Watco Butcher Block Oil and sealed with Howard Butcher Block Conditioner. Featuring rubber feet underneath to allow your fingers to fit under the board for easy lifting. The rubber feet also enable the board to grip a wet countertop and prevent it from slipping when you are chopping food on it. A bottle of Howard Butcher Block Conditioner is included with the item. End grain boards are best for food preparation, as they last longer due to the orientation of the grain fibers, and are much easier on your knives over the long term.
