Muriel G. Halstead was born in Hawaii on July 30, 1893. Halstead appears to have settled in Los Angeles in the 1920s and was soon an active painter and commercial artist in the local art scene. She died in Los Angeles on January 30, 1984. Signed "H. Muriel," no known title.
