Judith Bertozzi completed a 4 year certificate program in Sculpture from the School of the MFA and holds a BA in Fine Art from Tufts University and an M.Ed from Lesley College. After retiring from teaching art for over 20 years, Ms. Bertozzi has continued to paint en plein air throughout New England, California and many European countries.

This watercolor was created en plein air while the artist was exploring the colorful hills of California in "Condor Territory." This environment is harsh, colorful and alive with energy.
