Barbara Edlund Healy's paintings reflect the quiet beauty of the New England coast. She has a BFA from UMass Dartmouth. She is a Juried Artist Member of the Cape Cod Art Center. Recent awards include: 1st place in the All New England Show at Cape Cod Art Center, Oct 2020; 2nd place at Wet Paint Padanaram Harbor, Sept 2019; Purchase Prize at Cuttyhunk Plein Air 2017; 3rd Place at South Coast Artists Annual Theme 2017 and Best in Show 2015 at the Spring Bull Gallery Newport Beach and Boating Show.

"Westport Point Garden" was painted en plein air during the 2021 Garden Tour. This garden overlooked the Westport River on a beautiful summer day.
