Cristina Hajosy is a mixed media book artist based in Canton. Her passion for marbling began with paper, specifically to be used in the context of bookbinding. It swiftly moved to fabrics, textiles, wood and even terracotta. She finds marbled patterns can be conceptualized into mixed media contexts in unique ways. Often feminist, body related, and occasionally narrative, her marbled artworks take this traditional craft into a contemporary, often turbulent place. This lot is for one, 4-hour private paper marbling workshop with artist Cristina Hajosy in her studio, Hajosy Arts, located at 20 Tracywood Rd, Canton, MA.

Spend an enchanting afternoon with Turkish-style paper marbling. This decorative art is both a joy in the doing and the having. Buyer will design a large selection of papers, card stocks, sheet music, map pages and more with custom colors on their individual marbling vats. The beautiful swirls and intense colors are striking.
