Before retirement, Bill Lane was a graphic designer and had his own design firm in Providence, RI. He now devotes his "art" time to watercolors with an occasional oil. Bill is an artist member of the Copley Society, a signature artist member of both the New England Watercolor Society and the RI Watercolor Society. He is an exhibiting artist member and instructor at the Providence Art Club. He also teaches at the Newport Art Museum and has taught several workshops in the area.
"Mid-Day Bright" is a watercolor that captures the brilliance of sunlight bouncing off the water at Beavertail Point in Jamestown, RI.
