Diane Savino holds an M.F.A. from Vermont College of Norwich University, a MA.Ed. from Hartford Art School and a B.A. from Westfield State College, MA. Her selected exhibitions include John F. Kennedy Center, D.C., Concordia University, Moran-Dervan Fine Art/Chelsea Art Fair, London, England, among others. Her works have been profiled in such publications as Art New England, American Artist, and American Art Collector. She is currently represented by Lark & Key Gallery, Charlotte, NC.

"The Sky is Falling" is part of a painting series that utilizes the Renaissance techniques of egg tempera and water gilding. Diane Savino is drawn to the natural and rural world in which she lives. Her works sacralize the natural elements containing plants, birds, and animals.
