Christina Beecher, with her love of the outdoors, has focused her painting career on the natural landscape. She has participated in many juried exhibitions over the past 20+ years. Teaching in her home studio along with gallery representation and her own studio work has allowed Beecher to experiment with oil paint, her medium of choice. She is a member of the AAM, serving as a volunteer and a trustee, as well as the Oil Painters of America.

"Cranberry Fields," though small in scale has the depth seen in much larger works. The loose brush strokes of complementary colors juxtapose the reds of the bog against the vibrant green landscape. The distant treeline is shaped by a cool blue sky with a beautiful cloud suspended above it all.
