Ronna A. Pate is an artist born, raised and living in RI. Oil painting is her chosen medium, however, she has also studied drawing. She has previously exhibited at the AAM, Heartspot Art Gallery and Arnolds Mills Community House.

Her painting, "By the Bunkhouse Door" won an Artistic Excellence Award in the Fusion Art Western Art International Online Juried Exhibition. This piece is one of a few paintings the artist created of fruits & veggies. Pate enjoyed painting all of them but the red onions were the most fun! Fruits & veggies come in pure, vibrant, rich colors that naturally bring life and a variety of texture to a canvas.
