Rosemarie Manson studies at the EastSide Art Center. She is a member of the RI Watercolor Society, the AAM, the E. G. Art Club and Wickford Art Association. As part of her artistic development, she has been experimenting with a variety of water media, papers and surfaces. She also prints monotypes using a Gelli® Plate. Capturing emotion, interpreting nature and transforming realism continue to be the driving forces in her journey as an artist.

When Spring is mentioned, we think of a variety of greens. Then, other colors of emerging flowers spice up the landscape. Flowers of many sizes and shades develop to let us know that the scene will glow with the rainbow. The Irises in the artist's yard continue to delight her as they grow! Ms. Manson's process includes multimedia on Yupo with a variety of strategies to make the marks: stamping, brush strokes, and use of a washed-out background.
