Mary Wojciechowski, a retired visual arts teacher, is a signature member of the RI Watercolor Society, a juried member of The Cape Cod Art Center and is a long-time member of the AAM. Mary's work in watercolor and alcohol ink has been accepted consistently into juried exhibitions, regionally and nationally, and she is currently represented by Gallery 31, Orleans, True Grit Art Gallery, Middleboro, and Fuller Art Gallery, Jamestown. When working with alcohol inks, pigments are poured upon a non-porous surface where they freely flow and intermingle, creating unique textural effects as they dry.

"Across the River" is one in a series of landscapes painted by Mary Wojciechowski where realistic elements are integrated into the composition created from the initial pour of inks.
