A professional sculptor for over twenty years, Michael Alfano, creates fine art bronzes, portraits, and monumental works that are figurative-based, philosophical, and evocative. His sculptures are in galleries, private collections, parks, and museums worldwide. He first studied sculpting the figure from the model at the Art Students League of NY. In juried exhibitions, Michael has earned over seventy awards, including the designation "Sculptor of the Year."

"Mind Meld" is accompanied by the quote "I am one with you beyond recognition" by Hafez, Persian lyric poet (1325--1390).
