Kristina N. Occhino holds a BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College and an MA in Art Education from RISD. This year, she had watercolors accepted into the North East Watercolor Society's 46st Annual International Open Exhibition and the National Show at the Cape Cod Art Center. She won the Juror's Award of Excellence at the AAM's Flower Show in 2017.

"Schooners Racing off Owl's Head" is a watercolor painting created in the studio following a trip to Rockland, Maine and surrounding towns. Kris loves painting New England coastal scenes. She is always interested in capturing the light and atmosphere of the places she paints.
