Robin Watson holds BM and MM degrees from Ithaca College School of Music. She exhibited and sold paintings at the AAM and local art shows. Her paintings were entered in the 3rd Annual Women in Watercolor International Juried competition and Food Glorious Food competition. Robin's paintings are inspired by landscapes, the sea, flowers, sculptures, and architecture. She also enjoys painting portraits.

This piece was inspired by the weathered lion outdoor sculpture at Rosecliff Mansion in Newport, RI.
