Alexandra Jordankova is a multimedia visual artist and SMFA certified graphic designer. Alexandra's art is strongly influenced by her extensive world travels and her sense of curiosity. Her artworks encompass a variety of art media but she is mostly known for her paintings, mixed media and photography. She uses vibrant pure colors and texture in her art. Jordankova has been exhibited nationally and has won numerous prizes and awards.

"Before Storm" was created with dramatic colors depicting an abstract landscape before an upcoming storm. The painting is executed in impasto (thickly applied paint) style which is stressing the drama and is adding the depth and texture to the artwork.
