Marnie Jain has been working in the medium of collage for over 10 years. She recently exhibited her work in the Community Gallery at the AAM during the month of Sept 2022. Earlier this year she had a solo exhibit at the Jamaica Plain Branch Library.

"Joy Palette" was inspired by the love of colors, particularly the golds and pinks, in the work. Like most of Marnie Jain's collages, there are numerous insects interspersed among the blossoms, stems, and leaves. Just as in nature, the viewer might not discern all the creatures at once, but can enjoy discovering them in time.
