Carla Carey is an award-winning fine artist with work exhibited throughout the US and in private collections worldwide. In 1974, Carla graduated from the University of RI. Her post-graduate studies continued with Helen Vaughn, Cheng-Khee Chee and Jan Zaremba. She became a member of the American Portrait Society in 1996 and founded the Brockton Area Watercolor Studies group.

In 2005, Carla founded Hunakai Studio School of Fine Art, a non-profit fine art school and gallery supporting local and emerging artists.
