Barbara A. Canning is an alumna of RISD with a certificate in Drawing and Painting. She has exhibited in local and national juried art shows. She is a member of the AAM, Warwick Center for the Arts, East Greenwich Art Association and Pawtucket Arts Collaborative. 

"Coming Home" is part of Barbara's participation en plein air painting. This piece was painted on site in Mystic, CT. Barbara chose to donate this piece for its quiet setting and invitation to the viewer to relax and enjoy being part of the scene.
