Mike's Paddle in Alameda is the best stand up paddle board place in the San Francisco Bay Area providing rentals, lessons, retail and kids programs.

This certificate allows two to take an Introduction to SUP (Stand up Paddleboard) course.  These classes allow you to learn at a beginner pace an gives you the skills to paddle around Alameda.  This Intro to SUV (level 1) calls will begin with a half hour of equipment, paddling, and safety orientation on land, followed by paddling basics an self-rescue instruction in the beautiful and protected Ballena Bay lagoon or Wetpoint Slough.  Then you'll put these skills to use on an exciting guided tour out into the open bay (if conditions allow).  The classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
