Duncan Royale created a collection of Santas depicting the history of Santa and published a book by the same title History of Santa from 2000 BC to the 20th Century. Max Duncan is the artist behind the concept and design of each Santa. Sculpted in 1983, each has a heavy feel and is beautifully painted for a rich vintage look. Each is numbered and stamped on the base.

...Kris Kringle is still popular as the Santa Claus of Pennsylvania Dutch homes today. He carries a tiny Chirstmas tree and enters the house through a window left open. When he has finished decorating the tree and placing the presents, he rings a bell allowing the household to know of his departure.
