Description

"Rise Up"

A beautiful high-quality giclée art print of the Ukrainian Motanka doll by artist Sonja Christoph.

Size: 16 x 22 inches

Motankas are ancient Ukrainian family talismans, symbols of prosperity, goodness, and hope. The first knotted dolls appeared about 5,000 years ago and represented the unity of the family and the deep connection between multiple generations. The Guardian Motanka or Berehynia was associated with the Mother - a symbol of care, love, and prosperity.
