Into the Woods first premiered on Broadway in 1987. The Tony-nominated musical incorporates stories from several Brothers Grimm fairy tales, including Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Ridinghood and Rapunzel. Nominated for 10 Tony Awards, the original Broadway production won three, including Stephen Sondheim's original score and James Lapine's book.
