About the Artist
My name is Atlas Thomas, and I'm a sculptor and ceramic artist working in Brooklyn, NY. Much of my work relies on symmetry and pattern in the same fashion as traditional Middle Eastern mosaics and textiles. I use experimental glaze combinations in ceramic work to produce rich layers of color so that each piece is functional and unique.
