Breathtaking ... this winner of this package gets a 3 month introductory membership with the Shenandoah Soaring Club which includes a demonstration flight over the Shenandoah Valley.

Located out of Nellysford, Va, the SSC has a group of 50+ members that soar over the Blue Ridge mountains and Rockfish Valley in classic and state of the art gliders, harnessing the power of nature to sustain our flights.  

Each ride is rougly 30 minutes long but you'll never forget it.   The membership begins with the demonstration flight.

Instructions for Scheduling Demonstration Flight

• Where: We are operate at Rockfish GliderPort in Nellysford VA, near Charlottesville. Our
address is Rockfish Gliderport, 227 Edgewood Drive, Nellysford VA 22958.
• When: Most weekends, occasional weekdays. Email us to schedule your first flight

Some rules:
• The rider cannot weigh more than 225 pounds fully clothed.
• Circumstances may require cancelation, including on the day you are scheduled.
• Please make alternative plans in case of cancelation.
• Dress weather appropriately for the day. The hangar and planes are not heated or cooled
