The Santa Barbara Shellfish Company family began on Stearn's Wharf in 1980. The Shellfish Co became a popular place for lunch specializing in steamed crab, local lobster and ridgeback shrimp. In 1999, we opened the FisHouse on Cabrillo, our first venture into the full dining arena.

Established in 2009, The Boathouse at Hendry's Beach is the newest venture of the Shellfish Company. The Boathouse is committed to serving fresh local product, and sourcing the finest seafood anywhere.
