There is a variety of guided walking tours available in the Town of Concord, MA that celebrate different aspects of the history of this area. They range from 1 mile to 5 miles in length and are given throughout the year, though less frequently in the winter months (Jan-Feb-Mar).


These tours include:



  • Little Women Walking Tour - Learn about Louisa May Alcott's role as an author, suffragette, abolitionist, and transcendentalist.

  • Women of Concord Walking Tour - In a town famous for its independent spirit, Concord's women have always been leaders, fighting for justice and creating a uniquely American vision in literature and art.

  • African American History - Learn about the Robbins House, John Jack's grave, and various houses that were part of the Underground Railroad, while also learning about the first generatrion of freed African Americans in Concord.

  • Indigenous People of Concord - Learn about the Musketaquid people and their 10,000 history in the Concord area, as well as the clash of cultures when European fur traders, followed by English settlers in 1635, came to the area.

  • Daily Historic Walking Tour about Concord's revolutionary and literary history.

You must contact the Concord Visitor Center to reserve your place in the tour you choose, then pay with the gift vouchers included in this Auction item. All tours may be reserved as private tours for 4 people if you wish.
