The Bounty of the Sea | This year's voluptuous mermaid holds a bountiful cornucopia of sea life, tempting all who gaze upon her to the shore's edge, rod in hand.

Margot Datz is a beloved and renowned Vineyard artist. Her diverse career includes such landmarks as the public murals at The Old Whaling Church, The MV YMCA and hospital, and the ferry terminals, and many other sites. A fine artist as well, her fantasy paintings can be seen on Facebook, and at her annual August show at the Grange Hall. Margot is also an author/Illustrator, and her book "A Survival Guide for Landlocked Mermaids", making her a bit of a mermaid expert in these parts.
