Kindred Spirits Creations Weaving Workshop for Four

This half day mini workshop will introduce the participants to basic weaving techniques, a fun day for Four people even if they have had no weaving experience at all.

This workshop will explore basic (Tapestry) weaving techniques using a simple frame loom and colorful yarns to create a simple woven piece that can be used as a small wall hanging, mug rug or with some additional basic sewing (outside of the class) to create a pouch that can be used to hold your cellphone or other small items.

During the one-day class you will learn how to wrap the foundation threads (warp) onto the frame loom, use basic tools (shuttle and comb/beater) and chose colorful yarns to create the fabric. Once the fabric has been removed from the loom, instructions will be provided for finishing.
