In that time, he has had the opportunity to amass a pretty extensive collection of extremely rare and hard to find whiskies. Join him in a Vertical Tasting (1oz pours) of Willett Family Estate Bourbons from 6 to 11 years old! Collectively these bottles would sell on the secondary market for over $20,000 (if you could find them). Did you try the limited XCF or 80th Anniversary releases? We can try those too! Your ticket includes a branded tasting glass and BBQ dinner on the date of your choosing for up to 4 people. About the Willett Distillery:
In the spring of 1936, at the age of 27, Thompson Willett founded Willett Distillery. The distillery was erected near the family farm, which had been purchased by Lambert Willett, Thompson's dad. Upon completion, in the spring of 1937, Willett Distillery produced its first batch of Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey. That first batch amounted to 300 bushels (~30 barrels) on March 17, 1937, St. Patrick's Day. The newly barreled Bourbon was stored in one of the familys rickhouses, each capable of storing between 4,000 and 5,000 Whiskey barrels. The rickhouses were built on some of the highest ground in the county, assuring that a fresh breeze would aid in the maturation of the Whiskey.
To this day, descendants of Thompson Willett are still carrying on the family tradition of making Kentucky Bourbon and Kentucky Rye Whiskey at the same spot that Thompson and his family operated over 80 years ago.

By purchasing this Item, I release the California State PTA, including all unit, council, and district PTAs and all of their officers, directors, members, volunteers, employees, and agents (collectively “the PTA”) and the Item donor, from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action arising out of or related to the possession, redemption, participation in, or other use of the Item.
