About the Artists:

Dan and John Cesere are brothers that were born in Maine and have lived on Maui since 2003:

Our passion for the ocean was apparent throughout our school years, producing hundreds of papers and projects about the ocean and the beautiful marine life we loved. It didn’t matter what was going on in our lives, we couldn’t shed our infatuation with the sea.

After graduating from college, we decided to pass on traditional careers and became scuba diving instructors and boat captains. In 2003, we bought one-way tickets to Maui, determined to create a successful career in the ocean. We spent the next 8 years working on a local dive boat, mastering our diving and photography skills. Our path began taking shape as we began capturing vibrant, unique and dynamic images that people couldn’t take their eyes off.

Cesere Brothers Photography was born! We travel the world searching for our next image doing exactly what we love and what we would dream about as young kids. Which is why we often say and encourage everyone to follow your dreams! We are living proof that they can come true!
