This is a carbon fiber 9 foot 8 weight 4-piece fly rod, custom built by ML Cross Fly Rods here in North Bridgton Maine. This fly rod will load up and deliver tight loops with excellent distance and accuracy, even against the wind. It has the dependable performance of a classic 9-foot fly rod with a moderate-fast action and enough backbone to fight trophy bonefish, bull redfish, and juvenile tarpon, as well as freshwater trophy bass, steelhead, pike and more. Comes with shown rod sock.
