Beautiful cross stitch of an 19th century home on what appears to be linen.    The cloth is 15” by 14” and the actual cross-stitched image is 8” wide and 6” tall.  Unfortunately, there is a light stain (as shown) were the crochet frames rested, but this piece is too gorgeous and too beautifully stitched to be lost.  

Hopefully the stain could be removed, or an oval mat and frame could be put around it.  A lovely, simple leaf wreath could circle it and cover the stain. Hopefully, there is someone out there more skilled than I who can save this lovely hand-made piece.
