Jones The Boy began in 2016 as a small home bakery in Burlington, Vermont. The baking company got its modest start making cookies for the iconic, and sadly now closed, Uncommon Grounds coffee shop and cafe on Church Street in downtown Burlington. Soon after, Jones expanded their offering at the coffee shop and began sending their products out further throughout the greater BTV area. After gaining traction and a bit of a local cult following, Jones The Boy serendipitously crossed paths with the empty space of the former, Almost Home Market in the beautiful town of Bristol, Vermont. With a vision and a dream Jones began working diligently night and day preparing the space to be what they hoped would become a bakery space that would not only satisfy the needs of a small wholesale company, but also provide a space for the public to shop for fresh baked pastries, savory and sweet. As we all know, one can not have sweets without coffee, so Jones asked their friends at Uncommon Coffee Company (former roasters and management of Uncommon Grounds) to provide us with, in our opinion, the perfect coffee and espresso for our little bakery. In an attempt to continue in the spirit of our beloved former home, Jones The Boy is a safe space for all.
