The meaning of “Manow” is lime in Thai which is an important ingredient in Thai cooking. At Manow Thai Kitchen, the Chef and Owner learned to prepare authentic homemade-tasting dishes to share with family, friends and now customers.
Manow Thai Kitchen offers traditional dishes from different parts of Thailand.
Head chef PJ grew up in the countryside in Thailand, which provided a lot of natural ingredients for everyday cooking. He learned how to use different type of spices, vegetables and meat to create dishes with whatever he could find. He graduated bachelor of science program in physics from Thailand.
Waree grew up learning and helping in her mom’s family street food vending business in Thailand. Also, through observing the everyday routine of her father’s rice factory, she gained knowledge about food quality. After she got to the US in 2001, she started working right away in commercial kitchens and has held various positions since then.
