As a Boston Red Sox Double-A affiliate since 2003, the Portland Sea Dogs are a minor league baseball team based in Portland, Maine that currently competes in the Eastern League. Home games are played at Hadlock Field.

In 2022, the Portland Sea Dogs were honored as the nation’s top Double-A franchise by Baseball America.
Also in 2022, five Sea Dogs' players were added to the Boston Red Sox 40-man roster.
