Artist Statement 
Hi, my name is Emma. I am originally from Richmond, Ontario and I have lived there my whole life. I love cats, I have one cat at my house. I am 11 years old and I am in grade six at St. Philip Catholic School. In my free time, I like to play outside and watch movies. I also like to play with my friends and cousins. In my painting, I painted a snowy winter night because I love winter so much.  it is my favorite season. I recently took an interest in painting and drawing at my house during my free time. I have always been fascinated by how everyone has different ways to paint. It is very incredible. I hope that after people see my art they would consider buying my painting for a good cause. In my opinion, I really like my painting. It brings me joy and happiness. In my painting, I painted some trees such as birch trees and some spruce trees. I also painted a green snowy house and a snowman in my painting. That's all about me and my painting. I hope my painting brings someone as much joy and happiness as it brought me!
