Artist Statement

My name Liam and I like sports. I was born in Canada. I am a student at St. Philip Catholic School. My favorite sport is soccer and I play for Ottawa South United. The name for my painting is “Nightfall”. My painting has snow on a cabin and I have a snowman, a skating rink and a massive tree in the backyard with a very cool night scene. My artwork is very special to me because my granddad used to paint and draw. We have been learning from Katerina. She is a famous artist. I have enjoyed this project because I've never painted on a canvas and it was so much fun painting with Katerina.
