Time spent with the panel can be used to ask questions about the video game industry, Fortnite, Epic Games, career guidance-related questions, and/or Personal Art Portfolio Review if there are any budding artists, etc.

Participants + Bios:
Mike Balog - Technical Art Director
Michael has worked in the Video Game and Film VFX Industry over the past 25 years. While at Epic Games he has worked on projects such as Fortnite, Paragon, and numerous Special Project Demos, as well as helped design the Physics Engine in Unreal Engine. Prior to Epic Michael worked at Industrial Light and Magic where he was a Creature Supervisor with over 30 film credits. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts.

Ryan Schwayer - Senior Quest Designer
Ryan is a game designer and has been making games since 2004. He's worked on games like Fortnite, World of Warcraft, and EverQuest II.

Jarad Vincent - Principle Character Artist
13 years work experience, 10 years in video games and 3 in advertising.
Jarad has worked on everything from car commercials, toys, VR and AR projects, high end tech demos, and the little game known as Fortnite. He lives in Raleigh NC with his wife and 2 kids, and is a fellow GRACE parent.
