Join Mrs. Johnston for an hour after school in the maker space to create an item of your choosing to keep! Mrs. Johnston will help you design and use any of the machines in the classroom to complete your item (age appropriate when it comes to wood shop machines). Create anything from a cardboard car, a custom keychain on the laser machine, or even a cutting board on the CNC. Mrs. Johnston will meet with student before the creation day to talk design and materials needed. The maker room can make incredible items but there are limitations to what can be made in 1 hour. Machines in the wood shop must be age appropriate. Lathe is only available for the 5th grade.
