About the USS Iowa
Battleship IOWA Museum is owned and operated by the Pacific Battleship Center, a 501(c)(3) non- profit organization. As a historic naval ship museum, we inspire civic engagement through Education, Veterans, and Community efforts. The Pacific Battleship Center (PBC) celebrates the American Spirit through the preservation and interpretation of the Battleship IOWA. By sharing the accomplishments and sacrifices of American patriots and engaging visitors in unique and exciting ways, the PBC brings the ship to life by connecting the past with the present and future. Over the course of 70 years, from the Second World War through the Cold War, the USS Iowa has served our country by safeguarding democracy and promoting American diplomacy. As one of the last surviving battleships of her kind and as the West Coast’s only battleship museum, Battleship IOWA continues her service as a museum and a tribute to America’s enduring legacy. The winning bidder may pick up items at Bridges Academy starting on Tuesday, April 25th from 9am to 1pm in Amanda Martin’s office.
Items that need to be mailed such as gift cards/certificates will be sent via USPS. If you win an item and would like it mailed via certified insured mail, please email
amanda.martin@bridges.edu by Monday, April 24th and we will do so at your expense.
Items will be shipped at the winning bidder's expense. Shipping charges for USPS Flat Rate Boxes are between $10 - $22 and we will use the lowest cost possible. In the event that your item requires additional postage, you will be notified, and your card will be charged. Bridges Academy is not responsible for items lost in the mail.
