This female-owned taco staple has a great story, in addition to great food. BRIANA VALDEZ, Founder + Chief Queso Ambassador is the daughter of first generation Mexican American parents. She grew up all over Texas, moving from Austin to Los Angeles after graduating with a degree in business from St. Edward’s University in 2000. She began hosting pop-ups in her backyard and other spaces around the city to test her concept and recipes. In 2013, she found the right space and opened the doors of HomeState Hollywood. Her mom was her very first investor, making it a fully female endeavor!

PICK UP / SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS
Bidder will be responsible for the shipping/mailing fee, which will be added to the winning bid amount. Items will be shipped via USPS and billed at standard industry rates.
Items cannot be replaced if broken, lost, or stolen. Therefore, tracking is advised.
Auction items will not be shipped or will not be able to be picked up prior to April 12, 2023.
SPECIAL NOTE: Crespi Carmelite High School will be closed from April 6-14, 2023 for Easter break. However, the Advancement Office will be open during certain hours listed below.
Local bidders may pick up from Crespi Office of Advancement on April 11, 12, 13, & 14, 2023 between the hours of 11am-2pm. Beginning Monday, April 17, 2023 pick-up hours will resume as normal from 9am-4pm.
