Experience tours include The Movie Sites Tour, The Jungle Tour, the Half Day Secret Island Beach Activities Tour, the Ocean Voyage Tour, and the Kualoa Grown Tour.

MOVIE SITES & RANCH TOUR
Experience the famous Ka’a’awa Valley, known as Hollywood’s “Hawaii Backlot,” where over 200 Hollywood movies and TV shows have been filmed since the 1950’s. Hop aboard a vintage school bus and see where the Finding ‘Ohana scavenger hunt was filmed, the boneyard from Kong Skull Island, the Jumanji dance-fight area, the ATV hill from Mike & Dave, Godzilla’s massive footprints, and several other filming locations! You will also learn about Hawaiian culture, ranch history, agriculture, and stop at a historical WWII army bunker, built entirely into the side of the mountain range. There you’ll find posters, props and memorabilia from movies and tv shows filmed at Kualoa through the years, as well as some cool WWII artifacts and exhibits.

VENTURE ON A JUNGLE EXPEDITION
Buckle up for an adventurous and rugged open-air Jungle Expedition deep into our beautiful Hakipu’u rainforest. This lush and tropical valley was seen in Jurassic World, Kong Skull Island and Jumanji.  Guests board one of our custom-built jungle vehicles for a 90 minute tour that rumbles along jungle trails, across isolated stream beds and powers up steep, bumpy hills for many spectacular views. Guests may also participate in a short hike to a scenic overlook with breathtaking views of Ka’a’awa and Hakipu’u valleys.

COME AND PLAY ON THE SHORES OF BEAUTIFUL KANEOHE BAY
Our Secret Island Beach Adventure is an ideal place to relax and spend the day with family and friends and  enjoy water sports and beach games.  Bring your reef-safe sunscreen, swimsuit, water shoes, towel, shades and a camera for a fun-filled beach day. Some activities available may include kayaking, stand-up paddle-boarding, beach volleyball, table tennis, or horseshoes and are available on a first come, first served basis. In addition to activities, you can just relax and read a book in a hammock under a swaying palm tree. Showers and changing rooms are available on Secret Island so bring a change of clothes and a towel if you’re planning to take a dip in the ocean. You can bring your own drink coolers and lunch/snacks if you want … just no glass bottles allowed … cans are preferred to avoid using single-use plastics!

OCEAN VOYAGE TOUR
To start off with you’ll cross Moli’i fishpond, an 800 yr old example of ancient Hawaiian aquaculture, where you will learn about sustainable fishing practices as well as our oyster farm and current stewardship practices. Soon after you’ll arrive at “Secret Island” where you will board our catamaran for an ocean tour of Kaneohe Bay. This tour offers spectacular views of Mokoli’i Island, Hakipu’u and Kualoa valleys, and the Ko’olau mountain range. If you’re lucky you may also see turtles or other wildlife.

KUALOA GROWN TOUR
Our Kualoa Grown Tour allows guests to see the beauty and tranquility of one of Oahu’s most well-preserved ancient Hawaiian fishponds (Mōli’i), which is carbon-dated at between 800 and 1,000 years old. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior, you’ll get to learn about early Hawaiian aquaculture practices and how fish was farmed in this 153-acre actively farmed fishpond, still standing with much of the original stonewall infrastructure in place. Moli’i fishpond has been continually used as a food source for the last 800 years! Guests will travel on a Trolley to explore the tropical fruit and flower gardens of Mōli’i along the shores fronting our “Secret Island.” Admire the accomplishments of the early Hawaiians as the rich stories of the voyaging canoe and ancient fishpond unfold.
