Exciting and racy, this is not your father’s Whiskey. Packed with intensity and flavor, this five year old Kentucky Whiskey delivers. Each individual barrel was hand selected. The water source is pure and completely unique hailing from Dave’s property in Alexander Valley. Aged for five years in used American oak and then finished in wine barrels from Dave’s Napa Valley Cabernet projects.

The Savage & Cooke distillery, owned by Napa Valley winemaker Dave Phinney, is located on historic Mare Island and opened in 2018. The decision to locate the distillery on Mare Island was due to its fascinating history as a naval shipyard, the plethora of space, stunning brownstone buildings and its proximity to both the Napa Valley and San Francisco. Savage & Cooke distills, ages, finishes and bottles a range of brown spirits including Bourbon, Whiskey and Rye.
Dave crafts offerings in the style that he appreciates most; complex flavors, concentration, balanced oak influence and lushness. Small batch experimentation with additional spirits takes place on site and is offered for tasting exclusively at the distillery. These offerings will change throughout the year. We look forward to welcoming you to our distillery.

Bidder must be at least 21 years old.
Winning bidders located in Northern California may pick up their items in Napa at a location and date to be arranged -- details will be emailed to winning bidders. Items not picked up by March 10, 2023, will be mailed to the winning bidder, and purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs.
Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped (if possible) on or around Tuesday, February 7, 2023, unless you tell us that you wish to pick up your item. Purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. Please contact us at sbspcauction@gmail.com by February 6 if you plan to pick up your auction winnings.
